BAN RIGH HALL

Ban Righ is a great residence. It's centrally located, connected to the caf, and has amazing common areas. For some reason or another, lots of girls dread getting placed in an all girls dorm, but in retrospect I sort of wished I had been.

Your odds of making great girl friends are basically doubled by living in a single sex dorm, I mean, there are twice the number of girls on your floor, so you are bound to bond with a few!

Sure, much catiness is likely to occur in these fine residences, but to be honest, catiness is a lot more easy to swallow than eight hour sessions of drunk beach volleyball in your hall way the night before your Chem exam? Yeah, girls are less stupid.

So, what else is so great about these three rezes (Ban Righ, Chown & Addy that is). Well, they are extremely close to campus, are right beside the big Ban Righ Cafeteria, and most feature gorgeous limestone architecture and quaint rooms.

Ban Righ (pronounced Ban-Ree), is attached to the north end of Adelaide (Addy) Hall, at the corner of University and Queen's Crescent. It's the oldest rez on campus and was funded almost entirely through monies raised by the Alumnai Association.

It's home to 65 Queen's women and is the site of the second largest caf on campus ... the Ban Right caf (very aptly named) that looks kind of like the great hall in Harry Potter. Anyone?
