GORDON BROCKINGTON HOUSE

McNeil, Morris, Leonard and Gordon Brockington are situated in a U-shape around a big field and are mere steps from the shores of Lake Ontario.

Lots of pick up games of everything from golf to fribee to frisbee golf are know nto start up here.

Most rooms have kick ass views, of either the field, the water, or the treed campus, so you can't really go wrong. These buildings are getting a bit old .. and are tributes to the cinderblock and linoleum temples of the past.

The rooms in Gord Brock are considered big .. and lots have views of the lake. There are single rooms, economy doubles, and doubles, and common rooms on each floor.

The bathrooms are big, but not private. There are about three big bathrooms (three showers, one bath, four stalls in each). The elevator sucks ass .. so expect to trek it up the stairs a thousand times a day.

Brock also has a few rooms that walk right out to the beach volleyball court. Hello bikini season!

And last but not least, there is an indoor coridor that takes you right into Leonard Caf. When you face your first Kingston winter you will thank God that you had indoor access to the Caf and all the glorious carbohydrates it holds (I say this because if you aren't vegetarian now .. you may be after a day or a week of caf meat).
