MCNEIL HOUSE

McNeil is located on the northeast corner of Leonard Field, at the intersection of Stuart and Lower Albert Streets.

It was built in 1955 and certainly has an interesting history. It was originally an all male dorm for 33 years before become an all girls house in 1988. Then, it became co-ed .. and the notorious 'party rez'. Poo in the microwave, indoor slip and slides .. you know the deal.

They have a sweet huge common room in the basement where everyone would gather (from all the rezes around) to watch prime time tv shows like Dawson's Creek & Survivor. Boy, does that date me? Anyway, it's also really close to the Leonard Caf and the Rez Express in Vic Hall.

It also right beside the world's worst wind tunnel. I swear, if you weigh under 200 pounds and are carrying an umbrella, you'll be the next Mary Poppins.
